About Us

Monir Zandghoreishi, Project Red Dress Creator - In 2006, Monir accepted the position of regional Director of  Fashion Group International Seattle (FGI - Seattle). In 2007 Monir developed the concept for Project Red Dress and debuted the unique concept in 2008 to support local Pacific Northwest design students. Monir laid the foundation for her designing career at a young age and expressed strong talent for style, texture and movement. As a child she designed and sewed clothing for her dolls. Today, after many years of celebrating the entire couture-making experience, Monir specializes in creating gowns to adorn women for their weddings to their appearances at gala events. Monir's work has been featured in Seattle Bride Magazine, Bridal Connection Magazine, Vogue, Fashion Manuscript magazine, and a fashion show on KOMO TV's Northwest Afternoon Magazine show. She currently teaches and mentors students at IADT Seattle as the Program Chair of the Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising programs.

Fashion Group International is widely considered to be the most prestigious professional organization in the fashion industry. The Seattle Chapter of FGI is proud to present regional director, Monir Zandghoreishi's Project Red Dress event to support scholarship funding for local fashion design students.


The American Heart Association - Project Red Dress is thrilled to support The American Heart Association and their efforts to educate the community. The American Heart Association is a national voluntary health agency whose mission is: "Building healthier lives, free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke." Go Red For Women celebrates the energy, passion and power we have as women to band together to wipe out heart disease and stroke. Project Red Dress supports the Americna Heart Association and Go Red for Women's mission to educate and empower women and those effected by heart disease.
